Interior Alaska AHEC is a partnership with Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and the University of Alaska Anchorage. This program works with community partners across the region to weave together educators, students and providers to grow our own next generation of health care workers. We connect students to career information and required clinical rotation experiences, and provide continuing education courses to rural health providers.

Interior AHEC is part of a statewide AHEC system of centers created to help communities obtain better health care through development of the health care workforce in Alaska.  Having more health care providers means more people get the health care they need.
