Advisory Council
Amy Baldwin — Amy Baldwin is the Human Resources Officer for the Interior Community Health Center (ICHC), the safety net provider for Interior Alaska. She has been with ICHC for 7 years, and served on the Interior AHEC Advisory Council since early 2008. As part of her HR role, she performs staff recruiting and arranges for health professions training. She has a bachelors degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and in December 2008 became a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter. Amy has lived in Fairbanks since 1970. She is devoted to the Interior AHEC and its mission of healthcare workforce development in Interior Alaska.
Crystal Stordahl PA-C:
As the Community Health Aide and Community Health Center Program Director, Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC), Crystal is responsible for overall administration for 22 rural clinics serving a significant portion of remote Interior Alaska. Growing up in rural Alaska also gives her an acute understanding of the challenges to health care delivery in remote areas. Crystal graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Biology from University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1994; and received a Masters of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University, Atlanta Georgia, in 2000. Crystal has worked various positions for TCC before becoming a program director. She has been working with Interior AHEC for 3 years and a member of the Advisory Council for 2 years. Through her work at TCC and as an advisor to Interior AHEC, Crystal is dedicated to healthcare work force development and delivery of quality health care services.
