In-a-Box Curriculum

In-a-box Curriculum is a hands-on curriculum ready for your classroom!  Developed by professionals at Oregon Health & Sciences University and the Oregon Area Health Education Center. Teachers, presenters and groups that work with students in grades 4th-8th can inspire students with exploration in health and science activities contained in these easy to use kits.

The 5 boxes available are:  Eye In A Box, Ear In A Box, Brain In A Box, Guts In A Box and Bones & Muscles In A Box. Each box contains a teachers guide illustrating the background, activities, resources, schedule and content standard.   There are also instructional videos demonstrating how the activities work and what information each box can offer the students.

Teachers if you are interested in viewing the boxes please do not hesitate to call for an appointment. They offer great opportunities for students to learn more about these science areas as well as a possible future in a Health Care Career!!
