JOB SHADOW STUDENT IN FT. YUKON ALASKA

A Job Shadow allows you to see first hand what the day to day activities are like in the specific health care career of your choosing.  If you would like to experience a four hour job shadow with a health professional please follow the guidelines below:

  • Must be at least 14 yrs old
  • Interested individuals should fill out and submit the AppforJobShadow&Guidelines

  • Coordinate scheduling with professional, and you are on your way to exploring a health care career

Many health career programs are now requiring clinical observation/shadowing experience as part of their application process.  For students already on the Pre-med tract AHEC is working within the community and rural clinics to find opportunities to help students complete these hours.  Additionally, if you are interested in internship or research possibilities please follow  www.healthcareersinalaska.com for more information.
