Didactic Lectures

The Didactic lecture series offered at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital gives Graduate Medical Students, of all types, who are presently in clinical rotations in the Fairbanks area an educational opportunity to get curriculum and case study information from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College

  • Video Teleconference broadcasts originate from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and usually last two hours.
  • Each broadcast is composed of a one-hour lecture on a curriculum required topic and that is followed by an hour of Case Presentations detailing the medical histories, diagnosis, analysis, therapy and discussion of actual patient cases in anonymous format.

This is a very unique opportunity for students in our ‘educational community’ to pursue the best quality education at a great teaching institution.
